Hey

My dad has an old Pentium 2 laptop with Windows 98 SE and when he clicks on a link in IE for some reason it opens the window at the taskbar (minimized) and he has to right-click - maximize to view it. He cant click on it to bring it up - dont know why.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

Im not questioning yr knoweldge but are you 100% sure this will work? Cause the laptop is pretty old and I dont want to f*ck something up cause then my dad will take my laptop.

I know how to edit the registry, lol, Ive done it more than enough on my own computer. Its just that I dont want to f*ck up my dads comp so he doesnt take mine away.

Anyway, thanks, Ill go try it in a minute and tell you if it worked.

edit: It works on Win 98 SE right? Its not IE 6 either.

Like any other time you make a change to the registry... BACK IT UP FIRST! :) and all should be fine

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
