Office 97 on XP

    Hi,

    I'm going to be getting XP very soon. I currently own Office 97 and will be getting WorkSuite 2002 with a new PC. I don't want to pay to upgrade to Office XP if I can avoid it. Will Office 97 work fine on XP?

  2. I have recently upgraded to Office XP, but before I did I had no problems running Office 97 under Windows XP.:cool:

    Thanks guys.

    Could you tell me in a few sentences what I might gain from using Office XP SBE ahead of 97 SBE? I believe WorksSuite 2002 will give me the latest version of Word, and I only really use Excel occasionally. Hardly ever use the other apps.
