BTW my real question is ima almost done with my desktop, i been doin it alot, and im on my final stage, but how do i make curve lines in photoshop, anyone know. i cant find a good tutorial online.... ANYONE?

AND when coding active desktop i use HTML is DHTML possible in this ?

OMG, its bout to be 12:00, i havent done HW yet, nor study for my test, OH WELL Becuase my desktop is 85% complete, well probally no one cares but, ima tell u wat just happen, i was editing my wallpaper to fix my display, then my friend wanted to see my desktop, so i took a screenshot and save it then i close all FILEs (NOOO!) then after showing him, i realize dat my file wasnt save to a PSD so i couldnt edit it later, but wit my trickyness i managed to save time, and edit from my last screenshot, then from now i am almost done. i got my data impletated to the d_top, now all i gotta do is the active desktop stuff. BUT after i do my hw, and study and b4 i go to sleep ill post a screenshot if not ill do it when i come back from school PEACE GUYS !

I got sick of the green quickly and went right back to grey's. =\ *brainstorming again*

shif, you could use the login feature to login to places such as Hotmail. you would just have to figure out the login script that they use. yes, you can use DHTML, and yes, my desktop uses tables.

thanx to all those cheering me on - sorry haven't been around to comment on posts since...

firstly.. Javakhanzz - i'm from Uk

DHTML... yeah isn;t a problem... i'm using php in mine.. but you'll need to set up a server so it can generate the page... but you could pretty much code all of mine in HTML + VBscript... if yah knew how (i took the easy root out )

Shifterz - those icons are an image... just stuck an image map over it to make the links work
- also login/username mine is linked up to a web server management util called iManager... quite sure it should be possible for hotmail too... just view source from their page.. and copy the login section... should be as straight forward as that... may need to edit the odd link or too
- Curvey lines... use the 'Pen' tool

Goatman - OHHHH... lucky i was holding onto my table.. else i would have fallen off my chair... have to work out how ppl could live with something like that on their desktop... (if their not blind...) - but its yours... and you can live with that... so is pretty cool

Matt - nice change in colour... wish i could theme mine so easily :-/ - but still.. the grey/white simplicity rules

Benney - RAM wise... haven;t notice it eat up much... depends what you put on it really.. if its just simple static page... wouldn't be more memory then a normal webpage...isn;t really a RAM killer though

On a final note.. mine dont put no ones to shame... your own dekstop is unique in its own way... so its pretty cool in it self
