Nothing like having a BSOD less than

    24 hrs. after an installation and not additional information on the error. I thought Vista was suppose to be "stable" compared to XP?

    You should disable the "Automatically Restart" option first. Instructions for XP are here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/russel_02may13.mspx
    It's almost the same for Vista, except that you need to select the "Advanced System Settings" option after you click Computer>Properties.

    Then, if it happens again, note down the error code and any filenames that might appear on the STOP error screen. Any additional information might help to track down the problem.
