can anyone tell me, what it means when an error box comes up saying "not a valid win32 application" (look at screenshot)
this happens after i try to run the program, it is just a game that i downloaded
im running XP Professional, and i have previously run this game, but that was when i had Win98
could it have something to do with XP??
i have tried the compatibility wizard thing and that was no help
cheers

that is not a download error....It is clearly un compatible with winXP.................period

Did you try: Start > Programs > Game Name.
Now right mouse click on it and choose Properties.
There should be a compatibility Tab; click on it.
Change it to run in 98/ME mode.

i tried what you said engel 59
but sadly, it didnt work
oh well
thanks for your replies guys
cheers

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
