not getting a new connection

ive been having issues with my local area connection ive got established and i sorta figured out how to clear my current settings but now i cant get my pc to run a new local areaa connection no matter how many times i establish a new connection nuthing shows up when ive done the process for it and my system doesnt even show an outside connection of any kind im really having a bad time with gettn connectivity someone offer me some help on this please

One thing to do is run the network wizard, for some reason , no matter how i set my network up, it wont work until the wizard is run

Also check that the IP and Gateway adresses are correct
