No Virus Streak

I am just wondering what is the longest you guys have gone without getting "bitten" by those dirty virii. Personally I have never gotten a virus (knock on wood) except a trojan using AOL maybe 5 years ago or so when I was ignorant about computers for the most part. I use McAfee and Norton but only scan suspicious files. I have trouble understanding how people who know so much about computers can let one of those pesky buggers through. With all of the news about virii from files one of your friends "sent," I don't understand how someone would just open something very similar to previous email virii. But that's just me.

erm..... i think i had never been attack by virus b4... i seldomly open any e-mail attachments nor download any files except for files that i sure did not affected by virus.... i usually will scan my computer using updated antivirus twice a year.... so i think i'm a bit lucky mayb

Had tons back in the ole DOS days. I get a lot now as email attachments... luckily Norton swashes them. So far I haven't actually been infected... knock on wood!
