No sound in RealOne player?

I have downloaded both versions full and free and I still can't get any sound. Checked all the sound card settings, etc and still no go, I really need to watch some real media files so my question is what other player will play real media video files? Thanks for any help.

have you tried clips on more than one site ...sometimes there is no sound in clips ....i assume your not watching full movies with it

Yes it happens with all types of files including the test files on real.com.

with the full realone player Real.com should be able to give you some tech support for it or maybe a refund??

I downloaded Jet Audio and still the same problem the real media files have no sound. I can play any other file type and i have sound but not with any real media files. Now I'm lost at what to try next.

It's working now , not sure why it started working ....never changed anything exept I did a defrag last night. And I have done 3-4 defrags since this problem started.

Sometimes I swear this computer has a mind of it's own which doesn't listen to me. hehe
