what the hell is wrong with my computer? im on a network and this is a client computer. on my computer i cant get on the internet, but on the other computers you can. now this is the second time this has happened. the first time i went into the command line and did

    ipconfig/release
    ipconfig/renew

this worked but now since it happened again i tryed this now it doesnt work. i found that the only way to get on the internet is to go to msconfig and turn off start up programs. has this happened to any one? help is greatly needed. thanks in advance.

Are you running XP or Win2k?
    Is this a proxy config?
If not then you may need to configure the GATEWAY in networking -> tcp/ip (General/Standard settings)

If using a proxy check settings in Browser to see if they're correct.

It's also possible if you have a Personal Firewall setup that it's blocking all connections.
