New DC and logon problems

I got another big problem. I am in the process of rebuilding my domain controler. I have the new one up and running with the old DC down. when I try and login to the domain I get 4 errors in my event viewer, they are listed below. The machine is also very slow to open any type of files and it seems to be looking for something on the network. If I bring the old DC back online this all goes away and all is well. Any ideas?

P.S. I can rejoin the domain and the events go away and the PC speeds back up however I cannot log into MY user profile anymore. Can I get all my old prefs back, desktop, theme, program reg entries...

Thanks
Ken

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
