HI, i'm trying of connecting two computer with XP home together for sharing a printer, from these one with the printer I can see every one of the network (8 machines). But one with XP can browse internet, getting email, etc but can't see anyone of the network. (every one have the same workgroup name), in services "computer brower" is started, even the router can give him an IP. address with DHCP.

someone have an idea how solve my problem ??

the bulletin #KB318030 represent exactly my trouble but didn't help me....

thanks

I just fixed this same problem on my home network last night. Just go to DevMan and uninstall the network adapter for the NIC and reboot the computer. Allow XP to reload the drivers and you should be good to go. Do not do anything else in the way of changing the workgroup or the like.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
