Thanks for the info Keldyn. I was beginning to go crazy. Well, actually I have gone even more crazy knowing that Neowin is now hanging by a thread .

What about moving to another host using the same deal as we had with hosttyme? They give Neowin the hosting, Neowin gives them their banner space. Has Neobond or Redmak approached other hosts?

Maybe Neobond and Redmak can go by a scratchie . They might win $5000 .

Anyhow, my best wishes go to Neowin. And remember, if you need anything, anything at all, let me know. Unless it's $5000

Well guys. You have no doubt seen the announcement made over at neowin.net. The decision is final and with that we part ways from Hosttyme. Neowin shall remain closed until alternative arrangements can be made.
I have no regrets about our decision. Whilst we remained under their thumb neowin could never become all that it can be. I only hope that neowin will be able to find a new home for its self. We have a strong community and it would be a terrible waste to let it all go.
I thank you all for the concern and support you have shown through email, IRC, our community board, the xp-erience boards and private messages. It is most appreciated.
I wish the xp-erience crew success and good fortune in all your future endeavors. Thanks for sticking close to us during these tough times

Announcement
After a lot of talks, thinking and reflection we have decided to part way's with Hosttyme.
This is a mutual agreement and there are a number of reasons relating to hosting and the cost. Neowin has grown a few times over since Hosttyme decided to host us and that is where the cost is starting to become an issue. We will not accept donations or turn Neowin into a business (agreement) with Hosttyme.

We are exploring options and will continue to do so while the interest to continue is still there. We have a great community and I have faith.

We are closing the site for now but my email will continue to work for the time being. I want to wrap this up by requesting that our members respect what Hosttyme and Tyme have done for Neowin and not email them with further questions or harrasment. We thank Hosttyme for their support and wish them well

Although it's sad to hear that Neowin has closed down for the time being I know you will be back, stronger then ever. Best of luck to the entire Neowin team on your new endeavors. Neowin will be missed!
