Neon Glow

    does anyone know how to make text in adobe's photoshop glow like a neon light???? or if there is a place that has a turtorial about it can you please post it?

    just search for photoshop actions ...i'm sure there's an action that can do it for you

    in blending options, look for outer glow, and pick the color green ! or w/e

    with the line tool, how do i make the lines thicker????

  9. fireworks does it dynamicly out of the box.... change font or letters it does rest on the fly weeeeeee

    Yeah thats how ya do it... you can make it bold and emboss is too :blink:

    That Neon Tut looks as about as good as I've seen Octopus. I'll have to try it:D

    I attached a couple of versions of Neon text. Can't remember the turorial site but you could probably find it easy enough. I learned this method a long time ago, pretty simple, Haven't found a good neon except the one that Octopus posted, Nice.

    Create New image 500x500 white background.
    Make your text Black as large as possible.
    On text layer go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur>set it 3-4(whatever)
    Hit Control+E to merge layers.
    Hit Control+I to invert image.
    Filter Stylize>Solarize.
    Image>adjust>AutoLevels.
    Then Control+U>Colorize, then pick your poison, that's it;)

    Think i'll fiddle around and see If I can come up with a true tube Neon:eek:
