Need new TV soon...

My current television is on its last legs, so I need to replace it soon. I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to what brand I should go for. I'm looking to get a 27" flat screen tube, no HDTV. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!

get the Hd tv upgradeable that way when you are ready, it will be available.
also check the stats and look for a progressive scan engine, with 3 filters. If you have a progressive scan DVD player you should see a bigger quality difference.

no budget... no monitor in sig... but if it is big enough and money is tight then consider AIW or PCI TV card... I use them and they are cool for me
