Try tiny personal firewall. Its free. Or just use the Xp built in firewall.

any of the free ones work fairly well, zonealarm, sygate, Tiny, etc. try them all see which one you like best.

I've heard things about the XP firewall, mainly things such as "the XP firewall is as good as a chocolate teapot." etc.

I loved Sygate PRO until it decided to cut my upload speed by 90% and couldn't delete it completely enough to freshly install it again so i went back to Zone Alarm PRO which is decent i guess but i miss the Sygate, maybe after a fresh XP install i'll throw it back on. had Nortons PF and i didnt like it much and it is heavy in CPU usage i felt. Never used Tiny but i am gonna consider it. XP built in firewall sucks because it doesn't alert you to whats leaving your PC, only blocks coming in so if you have a trojan or the like, goodluck.
