    I think I'm in need of a new card.- AGP - ( I don't have PCI-e ) I don't mind spending for a 256 or a 512 Mb - I don't play games , mostly surfing , some photo editing , watching videos or DVD and working with CAD or 3D - house design/planning.
I need some suggestions here...too many cards to choose , I didn't know which one now....
Please help me choose my card...
    Thanks

Maybe just a mid-range geforce 7 card, something like this Geforce 7600GS from Dabs would be pretty good I reckon, and should be plenty powerful enough, perhaps even overkill (I'm not that familar with CAD programs).

I'm relatively pleased with my Radeon X1600, and there is a working Vista driver for it.

I would have said that the 7600gs is not good enough, to go with the gt, but since you dont play games... It should be fine.

It would help if we knew what the card being replaced is?
    What your price range is?
Do you need anything special like VIVO, dual monitor support, etc?

Not gaming makes life a lot easier.
