    Heyall,

I paid for a flash template for my new frontpage for my website. It is a flash template.

It has a swf file that I need to edit, I would like to fill in the links on the template.

Would anyone know of a freeware proggy that can edit my small template setup?

    Thanks,

    Heeter

You need to edit the .fla files not the .swf

But it is an swf file that is attached to the template.

I have no idea how to edit this file anyways, oh well.

A .swf is the compiled version of a flash file which can not be edited.

You could try to decompile the SWF back to FLA but you will then need to compile the FLA back to SWF.

This may work: Sothink SWF Decompiler

    Thanks AZ, for the explanation.

I have been looking at this file for the last two days and I can't figure out how to edit this fla.

SoThink's Flash Decompiler is not that great of a product and generally will produce output that won't then compile again.
