Hi Guys,

I just finished installing my new game Myst4. I am trying to get it going and I got this error come up.

Any ideas?

Heh, busted, maybe if you are using a No-cd crack, try using the original .exe file

No it's not the "cracked" version.

Fully bought and paid for.

I phoned UBIsoft support, and after about half hour, figured out that Myst4 drops it's "SavedGames" folder into the "Documents and Settings" folder and Myst4 needs Administrator rights to it, instead of the parent directory that it's installed in. My Documents and Settings folder is redirected to my home file server instead of being in the machine itself, Myst4 would not start. Resetting the "my Documents" filepath to default fixed the problem.

I buy and pay for all my games.

No offence was meant there. The link I removed explained the same thing, except it was for the cracked version. So I though you had the cracked version and I edited my post. Good to see it has been sorted though. :)

no-cd cracks apply to legal users too

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
