    Hello...
Every time I want to open a .TXT file i get the following error. I have attached it below.

Windows says it cant find the file I am clicking on....but the fact is that the file has actually opened and minimized. Is that weird or what?

I have to click OK on the error and then I see the file is actually open in notepad in my taskbar below, all i have to do is click on it to view the file.

I have tried re-installing WinXP and also running SFC /scannow
and this does not correct the problem....

Please open the attachment below to see the error I am receiving. I get this error for ALL .txt files, no matter what drive, folder, or location anywhere...

    Any suggestions??

I had this problem a while ago and the following worked for me,

Go to control panel->folder options->file types, scroll to txt file type, click Advanced, click Edit then uncheck "use DDE"
