Multiple OS program

    Does XP Pro have the option to load up more then one OS. I'm considerning installing 2000 and I have XP pro. If not what program works best for this.

    It does but only if you installed the other OS first and XP last. If not Powerquest Bootmagic (cames with Partition Magic 8) is useful.

    No worries. One more thing, if you decide to just use XP to autodetect 2000, you must ensure 2000 is installed in C:/Windows (default) else there'll be problems.

    In the C:/Windows. So it would have to be in the Windows folder. That is very good to know. I believe I'll get bootmagic and make sure I install in the Windows folder. For me it would be in G:/drive.

    No no no...MUST be in C: not just a Windows folder on any drive !
     
  7. XOSL is a great freeware boot manager, have a look for it.
