Msn messenger sticks

    hi ...

    i recently installed Office XP ... from then my msn messenger starts automatically from startup ... i use trillian so i don't want it ... therefore when i try to exit it ... it says some applications running e.g. outlook and others but none are actually runing...

    i even tried removing it from registry Run coloums ... still it comes back ...

    how do i get rid of it ...

    Easy way. Go into program files & find the folder Messenger. Rename it to MesengerOff. Done. :)

    You also could go to Tools in the main window down to options click on the prefernces tab and make sure there is not a check next to run this program when Windows start.
