Msn Messenger Help

Hi,

Please take the time and help me.

I have windows xp home edition.

Today I downloaded 'MSN Messenger' version 5.

When I open 'Outlook express' it open the old 'MSN Messenger' icon. I can only delete the icon from the toolbar after I have closed 'Outlook Express'.

It is bugging me, can any one please help?

you can remove the old version of messenger by typing this command:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Hey i had the same and also used this command to uninstall, well it worked but when i started up MSN 5.0 it did somekind of reinstall, and when i opened outlook it just started up the ol' messenger again...
