My friend also wants to upgrade his HDD from 30GB dead drive to 80GB but he does not have the manual.

I have identified it as a MicroStar 6191 motherboard.

Anyone know what size HDD this motherboard supports?

Also can a PC133 rated SDRAM be installed on a motherboard which only supports PC100 SDRAM?

    Thanks.

I put in 256MB PC133 DIMM and the motherboard will not detect it so I guess I need to find a PC100 module although they are more expensive than the PC133 DIMMs.

I have a spare 64MB PC100 DIMM and the PC has 128MB PC100 already in it. Do you think that 196MB is sufficient to run Windows XP properly?
