Microsoft Monkeys

Hey, we can always go back to Win98 or WinME or Win2k if those Microsoft monkeys actually do this lockout bull. They will lose alot because no one's gonna use their WinXP anymore. My version is from Kazaa, 2600 FINAL, and there's no activation in it. It just doesnt have that part in it, which is awesome, cuz I'm not gonna pay 200, 300 euros for a goddamned Operating System when I can get it free.

this is gettin out of hand here, just becaucse some guy asked if he could stilll up date his "beta" version of XP
thoes that dont pay for there XP shouldent moan about it if you cant update it

any Xp is cheap enough if you know where to look to get a good deal

try www.bluesolutions.co.uk
and get XP pro OEM for £95 and thats the full version not the up grade

omg, dont worry folks...
this is just like when xp first came around..everybody thought that going to winupdate would lock them out and all that if they had a "bad" copy of it.
relax..end of story...jeez......

I refuse to give a cent to microsoft. I would rather give it to Linux if I could. Microsoft is not about quility or customer satisfaction, they are all about making money. They dont care about you or you computer or your work, just want your money every year. And therefor I refuse to buy their crapy OS. I will continue to pirate there software till the day I die. Dont get me wrong, if they started to make software that was worth buying, I would be more than happy to pay them.

So there, I said it!!!

And I dont think micropoopoo is gonna do anything about the corporate copy of windows XP (no activation needed) out on the net.

BTW, if you get a change, try MS .NET Advanced Server. Its still in Beta RC, but it rocks. Its more stable and very fast. It might be worth buying it when its finished.

Edited for "poopoo".

Hello, Mr. Gates. I am sorry to say that this guy won't be buying your products.

now that i think about it.... i have a corp version of XP from work..which i use for work... what's interesting..that if you look at my licenses Belarc Advisor reported in the pic below... you'd think i would not be able to run any updates..but actually i have no problem doing so..even after i went into my registry to change that information..

ya, there u go...
my head hurts...one beer too many i guess...as axl said: good fu**ing night.....

Here is more info..from ZDNET News.

Biting the hand that pirates it
Another change seeks to curb about 90 percent of Windows XP piracy. Microsoft introduced Product Activation with the operating system, which uses a numeric key to lock the software to the hardware. But code stolen from a large Microsoft customer allowed rampant illegal Windows XP copying. People using Windows XP with the stolen key will not be able to apply the service pack or any future updates available from Microsoft's Web site.

"Basically we're freezing their computer where it is," Cullinan said. "We're not preventing them from using it, but obviously one of the benefits of having a license is keeping your PC updated.

The entire article (http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1104-922147.html) basically talks all about SP1 and all the changes it will have.
A good read

Corp Key LOCKOUT

Here is an idea... all those with pirated copies of Win XP, go out and buy a copy. Stop complaining because you can't update it.

There are deals everywhere you just have to look. I took advantage of a recent Windows XP Professional deal. I purchased the entire OS not upgrade for $49.99 directly from Microsoft. This is a LEGAL copy with license.

... you just have to look.

Good day everyone!

ok hmmm

i got no idea about this and i actually don't care a lot, but there is a copy of a keygen that supposed to generate keys that even work on the activation process, so if you really don't wana pay, and you are really scared that your comnputer will "freeze" in time i suggest you go and download this keygen.

before you guys ask, i don't have it, i fon't know where to get it and i don't know the name of it :D

I think this has been "discussed" enough. If you don't have a legit copy, go buy one. It is not that expensive. No more talk of key generators or "workarounds".

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
