Mozilla Hacks

I think maybe the reasoning is because they don't want to make the Browser too bloated like it has become with Mozilla. This way it's still streamlined but powerful and also easy enough to D/L and ya just get the components ya want and boom. NO BLOAT. :)

Well my thinking anyway... and we all know how MY thinking is. :p

I believe gonaads is right. What some people feel are useful features are sometimes useless to others. The Firebird team has attempted to remove "non-essential" components (such as MNG support etc.) to make the browser as lightweight as possible. Luckily, they've decided to bring the sidebar back in as a built-in feature. It's one of those things I really missed when I started using Firebird.

Generally warped. :D

I can't see as the sidebar code is going to be that big, all it has to do is read url's / files from panels.rdf and display them in a seperate frame. All FB needs to do now is be able to read panels.rdf and remeber the last used one.
As for MNG support, I only found out that was missing a few weeks ago, annoyed me that did :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
