Motorola PEBL

Hey guys

First off, thanks for the thread about the Razr, it helped me alot.

My gf recently got a PEBL phone with a USB interface. I've tried to us MPT to access the phone and everything works except the ringtone/multimedia section.

Does this phone need to be unlocked? If so, how?

I've searched the discussions here and have come up empty handed.

it may need updated drivers...if you use google you can find places on the net with the most up to date motorola drivers out there (not sure if we can post to other forums, and even if we can I wouldn't do that at the best forum on the net [osnn props])

I would also say it does not need to be unlocked to get to those features but things do change with updated tech

I don't know anything about the tech of these phones...Everything else works fine with Moto's phone tools on the PEBL except the ONE thing I want...ringtones/media...maybe MPT needs an update.
