modem string

i have a u.s.robotics 56k fax pci modem,i live in a rural area with
rural phone lines.could anyone recommend a modem string that might be helpful

Supposedly, output is directly related to uv intensity. ergo, if you put more power to the modem and make the lights brigter, than you will have more output. So, if you want to overcook your modem than all you have to do is cut off the end and wire it to a 220V power source. This only works with external modems with LED's (Light Emitting Diodes).
