Mobo Speed?

I have a Gigabyte GA-7VTXE+ Motherboard, and I was wondering what speed processor it will go up to, it says in the manual 1.4Ghz and faster why the bloody hell don't they say how much faster?

if you get the newest bios for your board, it will support up to an athlon xp 2600+.

Yea, I upgraded my BIOS to that version bout a week ago, I wasn't sure if that was the highest it went to,

Most 266 ddr Socket A systems will support up to 2600 + Amd Processors.
After that AMD appears to support 333 or 400 systems etc. only.
