Hello, i'm missing the option to "show desktop icons" in my right click menu. Does anyone know how I can get it back? Thanks.

Do you mean the show dektop in the quick launch bar? Where are you right clicking when that option shows up?

    Check this registry key

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

If there is an entry ClassicShell and it has the value 0x00000001
change this to 0 or delete it.

Thanks yoyo, I don't have that entry but could it have something to do with "noActiveDesktop"?

Definitely, this setting has the effect that is bothering you.
Backup the key, just in case, then right click on NoActiveDesktop and delete. Then log off and on again.
