I'm looking to purchase one of these apps to design brochures and flyers... different kinds of marketing material basically. I've used Publisher a bit and am getting ready to play around with the Tryout of Pagemaker. Just wondering if one is recommended over the other and for what reasons.

Go for Adobe Pagemaker. I had to make a school brochure and I used it. It's really simple to use. :)

I don't know about Microsoft Publisher. I used it once, just to create greeting cards. :p
