microsoft codecs

Can anyone tell me where i can find the MICROSOFT VIDEO 2 or 3 codecs that i can use with virtual dub. I have just fresh installed XP (after a whole year of trouble free use yeehaa) and i have lost these codecs.What program would install them or where can i download them.

there's a new codec pack that just came out for windows media player 9, check windowsupdate...and if you need addition video codecs, check out a pack called k-lite codec pack, pretty much has any codec you will need.
