Messanger 6 and anoying pop-ups

is everybody being bothered by the same anoying pop-ups as me,I use broadband and get pop-ups on messanger 6 all day long ,is ther an effective pop-up stopper to link in with messanger
or is it something you have to put up with ... any help much appreciated

The Messenger service popups have nothing to do with MSN Messenger 6.

All you have to do to stop these popups is go to Start>Run, type msconfig, double click "Messenger Service," click the Stop button, and set it to "Disabled"

Don't use messesger 6. Have you turned off messenger (nothing to do with windows messenger) in the services?

Control Panel/Administrative tools/services.
