When adding memory is it always best to put the larger memory modules first?
 
If its all same speed it should not matter ... but sometimes RAM is a bit weird and needs to be switched around so if after your adding ram you find its a little wacky try switching the sticks around .....:)
 
Thanks for the info. One other point, is it better to have one module with 256mb, or two modules of 128mb each?
 
some people would choose 2x 128mb and some would choose 1x 256mb... i personally would go for the 1x 256mb as it keeps space spare for future upgrades :)
