media center questions

hey, I have no idea what this os is capable of doing...can I like tivo stuff?

someone that has it tell me all I can do, little secrets, stuff like that...also if I use my xp pro to upgrade, do I loose the media center stuff?

I would recommend doing a clean install, not an upgrade . Not even sure if you can upgrade from one to another, since they are different SKUs.

chief, I know common advise is to do clean installs but I have never ever had a problem doing upgrades, and no, they are not slower doing an upgrade over a clean install

anyway, that's another discussion

the link is good, but I really wanted to talk to someone that's playing wih it a while

this is a media edition home, so a clean install onto my xp pro won't have some of the media stuff this has
