Maxtor 40Gb Hard Drive

Hi!

I upgraded my HDD from a Maxtor 10Gb to a 40Gb and did a Drive Image which worked fantastic, but now it seem the hdd is always working like it is indexing, i have switched this option off but it is still doing it, the HDD light does not come on when it is doing it, but i can hear it, any ideas??

If it was actually doing something the drive lite would be on. Sounds like it is just a noisy drive.
