hi all just installed xp home on a friends pc it all went on fine then
i went to install virtual java machine and a box keeps coming up saying the following : extracting file failed. it is most likely caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping file) or corrupted cabinet file.
i have checked the files and they are ok , the hdd has 22 gb free ! and it has 512 of ram .
all the drivers that are in use were put on by xp i have not had to put any third party drivers in.
also i get the odd blue screen of death of which i have never seen on xp before in over 1 year of use ?
any help would be great many thanks.:(

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
