    There used to be a .reg file you could download that would allow more than two downloads in IE. I seem to have lost it. Anyone got it?

    Allow more than 2 simultaneous downloads in IE 6
    This is to increase the number of max downloads to 10.

    Locate the following key in the registry:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
    InternetSettings

    On the Edit menu, click Add Value , and then add the following « Dword » values:

    MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server = Dword:0000000a
    MaxConnectionsPerServer = Dword:0000000a

    Quit Registry Editor.
    Reboot

    or save the following as a .reg file and double click;

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]
    "MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000008
    "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:0000000a

    yeah, but you know i'm just too lazy to go digging thru the registry when I know there is a .reg file around that will do the same thing
