looking for a new monitor....

    could you help me find a monitor....i want one that fits this description:...

    white/beige colored
    around 200 bucks
    will last long time
    atleast 1600x1200 rez.
    and flat but still CRT

    CTX should be a good brand and a very good decision ..

    theres lots of samsungs, kds's, and viewsonic around the 200dollar range

    This isn't exactly what you requested, but I thought I'd throw it out there, because I have this monitor myself and I love it to death.

    Philips 109S 19" CRT w/ max resolution of 1920x1440. I run mine at 1600x1200 myself with ClearType enabled. Things look great and they cost currently around $150.00-$200.00 it seems.

    Anyhow, that'll be the last I mention it.

    im scared to get a philips. after my philips cdrw broke down in 9months i can't seem to trust them. lol.

    any other recommendations?

    my dad has a 2-year old philips-magnvox tv and it's got issues as well. and the philips dvd player he bought a few months back quit working after a few weeks. :D

    monitors? viewsonic's A90f line and E90f line are good non-expensive 19" flat crt's. then envison has the 980e and 985e.
