Logitech Z-560 speakers driving me crazy

I connected the speakers as described in the manual. they are really nice when they work. the problem is that the speakers connected to the right on the subwoofer do not work all the time. sometimes they work and other times they do not. I tried connecting every thing from scratch and switching speakers without any luck. probelm is in speaker and not in sound card. anyone can think of a reason for preventing the speakers from working right.

There isn't a thing you can do my friend. If you just bought the speakers, or they are under warranty, I would take them back. It sounds like there is a short in the wiring inside the speaker. If you know anything about wiring or speakers, you might want to take it apart (only if it isnt under warranty). If you cant see any visible problems, its dead.

Return the speakers. Don't bother to much with finding the exact error. Don't try to repair them yourself.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
