Wonder if you could help? We're running a XP clients on our 2k-based network and we've come across a piece of software that requires users to have local admin access to their PCs, we've tried virtually every permission change on the clients but none have worked, so we're left with giving the users local admin access, which presents us with another problem...

The section that needs to use the software have 140+ PCs and obviously we do not fancy either remotely connecting or visiting these PCs. Is there a way to use the NET command to make a specific user a member of the each of the PCs local admin group? (could batch the command to each PC?)

Thanks

Dan

That's great, I'll give it a try. The Power Users group didn't have enough privileges and we've tinkered with user rights until they've more or less got modify access of most of the client (which obviously we don't want). Goddamn SX3!!

Thanks for your help

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
