    Yeah, they've done this before. I have the DVDs at home. Never got around to using them though. This is a new one with updated versions.

    personally, i would be more inclined to go with Ubuntu free cd's. SuSE has been and gone in my opinion.

    mmhmm, SuSe is streets ahead of ubuntu. Ununtu is still clinging to that old outdated distrbution called Debian that needs to get its head out of its arse and move forward.

    There is an open sourced SuSe coming out in the next couple of weeks, can't remember the site, this will be released with the upcoming Linux Distros:)

    I believe the Debian you speak with it's head out of it's arse is Debian testing/unstable.

    Open-source? as in Linux? :laugh:

    SuSE has always been open source. They just dont offer free iso's beyond the live iso last I checked.

    They did offer an ISO ... a bootable ISO, but the install itself is over the network ... unless things have changed. Last I played around with SuSe a little over a year ago
