Anyone have any luck with using one of the linux flavors run directly from a cd? I tried Knoppix and freesBIE, but no luck with my mobo. It works, but i cant get the internet to function (im guessing it doesnt have drivers built in for my gigabyte nforce 2 network adapter). Which distro has the most built in drivers and still allows access to my windows drives? Or is there something i can do to get the internet to function? The next one im gonna test is Slax...

Glad to hear that. Slackware is the way to go as far as Linux is concerned. :D

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
