Since I'm a fan of generally anything not Windows (supprise supprise),
I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a Linux version that could be used on my iMac as another OS for me to play with :)

I've tired a version called "YellowDog" but that didn't particularly go down too well for various reasons  ... ssoo was wondering what other people thought. :)

I would of said Slackintosh, however the tree hasn't been updated to the latest 9.0 version, 8.1 is still worth a try though: http://slackintosh.exploits.org/

also if you want a full blown desktop try out the ppc editions of Madrake and SuSE, both are very nice as desktops even though they are a bit bloated. But saying that OSX is gutsy on ram so that really shouldn't be a problem.
