Hey guys...I'm hoping that someone in here can help me out. I am looking into installing a wireless network for a local high school. The APs will be connected into my pre-existing gigabit ethernet switches and routed through a Linux-based firewall that will provides tiered access to the net based on logon ID. I am planning on mounting them above ceiling tiles. Essentially, I need fairly robust APs that will handle large volumes of users (possibility of 600+). I would prefer a pseudo-mesh network (all APs running the same SSID with local roaming). Does anyone know of a particular product that will handle this? Any help you can offer will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have worked with the Cisco Aironet 1200 series Access Points before. Did a nice job in regards to signal strength and handling large amounts of traffic.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
