should SVCHost be receiving and sending out info?

should "system" be receiving or sending out info?

what should both of their 'protocols' be? UDP or TCP

SVCHOST can go out to the internet yes, there are however specific rules for this. Its mainly the windows time service running in SVCHOST communicating on port 123 UDP that needs in and out communication. Check the Kerio forum sample rulesets for more info.
