    is the microsof code names come from ski places in BC, CANADA???

    like whistler, ect.???

    because those names are place to close where i live

    The codename for Windows 95 was "Chicago"....My hometown :D

    heheh, just kidding really. I am a big fan of August 24th 1995.
    It was my 14th Birthday.

    Seriously tho, and I mean it this time. I think Windows95 was a turningpoint, I remember seeing screenshots of Doom running in a Window. Doom was the dogs bollox at the time of the preview, must have been a year or two before its release.

    The increase in ease of use between Windows 3.1 and Windows95 is phenomenal and also you could make a funky little mace thing your Quake icon ;)
    So it had a few bugs, but what doesn't ;)

    yeah, the next windows in 2003 is code-named "Blackcomb"
    Whistler blackcomb in BC ( i live in vancouver, bc)

    No it isn't...It's codenamed Longhorn (2003) and the version after that is codenamed BlackComb (2005). I think they use popular mountains in the US as their codenames now....:)
