    this server is taking over from a P3 Coppermine 867Mhz with 128Mb PC100 and 40Gb Storage;

    Raidmax Scorpio 868 'Zorro' Case (red) with 400W PSU
    Athlon XP2500+ (Barton, 333FSB) [Retail Heatsink & Fan]
    Asus A7N8X-X Motherboard
    2x Crucial 256Mb DDR400 (running dual channel)
    Western Digital Caviar 80Gb (7200Rpm, 8Mb Cache, IDE)
    LG 16/52 DVD-Rom (OEM)
    Pine SiS315 AGP 32Mb Graphics
    3Com Etherlink Express 10/100 PCi
    80mm Antec Case Exhaust Fan

    it runs freebsd 4.10 and serves my network dns via djbdns and other services include ircd, ssh, http and ftp

    all that for £278.91 :) quite good considering i got it all in a priority delivery

    http: thekore.homeunix.net
    it may not work straight away until your dns servers are updated ;)

    i offer dns services to my lan but http / ftp / ircd / ssh etc are all external services ;)
    the P3 is probably going to be turned into a desktop machine
