java website?

    has anyone tried to download from the www.java.com website? When i try and download all the pages do not work, was wondering if anyone else if having this problem. Also what is the difference from the
    java Virtual Machine and the msjava Virtual Machine

    Works fine here.

    There should be no difference on MS or Sun's implementation on Java. They both have to follow specifications ... set by Sun. Personally, I don't use Sun Java. I use the MS VM on Windows and Blackdown on Linux.

    I tried last year about 10 times to download sun java from that site. I used save as in internet explorer, get right and using mozilla, everytime I tried to run the .exe it was corrupt.

    I found it on a CD mag and used that.

    D/l java from sun (couple of different versions), several times over the last few months, never had any problems
