Itunes Opening

Another weird problem...

is there any reason (in Vista) for itunes to open up and start playing by itself...


its a laptop too if that makes a difference...

Now when my friend told me this, I didn't get it correctly.


It's not opening again and again, but when its open.....

if i have msn over it, and Firefox....itunes will keep opening overtop those..

no matter what it is.....


I don't understand this....whats going on....what can I do?

I'd suggest a reinstall with the latest software. Also remove any Quicktime components

If that doesn't work/or hasn't try posting in the Apple forums for iTunes, there's a wealth of information there

what do you mean remove any Quicktime components, you need that for Itunes?

iTunes installs QuickTime itself (and updates if already on when iTunes is installed) Apparently iTunes uses components from QuickTime so always installs with it. Remove both and re-download, just a suggestion
