    Do you have an assigned IP address or does it change each and every time you reconnect to the Internet?

    Cable connections usually remain constant (except the old @home). RoadRunner remains constant.

    Local dial-up ISPs usually change when you reconnect.

    In any case, no. Not unless you own a block of C's (or any C's for that matter) and you run your own name server.

  6. hmmm...yeah maybe i dont need to be messing with my IP...my IP was banned on an FTP site and i just wanted back on...i guess the rest of that dj shadow album is gonna have to wait
